MY STORY
I've loved comics and video games for as long as I can remember. When I was little, my brothers and I would have to share our games and consoles, so while it was their turn to play, I would draw whatever I saw while I watched. A lot of that ended up being Argonians from Morrowind or Bilbo from the Hobbit. It wasn't until my senior year of high school that I got into Anime & since then I feel like I've been trying to make up for lost time. All of my art reflects all of these passions I have. So I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do!
HOW I DO IT
Adobe Illustrator & Procreate
I take elements of what I learned in a single high school art class as well as various techniques from youtube videos and put them into play. I have always been highly observant and am able to pick things apart until they're at their core, so I use this in my art. I'm still learning the basics and always get ahead of myself, but my method is always the same: 1. Sketch 2. Line Art 3. Paint... sometimes I'll add in more line art as I'm painting an image but for the most part, that's how I draw! I use a lot of references for structure/shape, color, and line art and am constantly learning from more established artists.
